Qigong for Pain: A Drugless Approach with Anton Baraschi
February 24, 2017 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
A.R.E. of New York Edgar Cayce Center, New York
Pain is a symptom we have all experienced at some point in our lives. Pain is experienced as a spectrum of symptoms and feelings, bracing many conditions and can be acute, chronic, mild, intermittent, periodical or permanent. Can qigong alleviate pain? The answer is yes in most conditions. Bioenergy offers a drug-free alternative or a complement to classic treatment, often helping in reducing the severity of symptoms and in the management of acute conditions. Sometimes the results are spectacular. We will explore basic energy healing techniques in several traditions that focus on pain relief. We’ll discuss particular conditions via Q&A and conduct demonstrations with volunteers from the audience. Time permitting, we will conduct a group field experiment to benefit one member of the audience with all others contributing.
NOTE: Following a one hour presentation, the Bioenergetic Healer's Group practitioners will offer Bioenergy Healing to all who attend the evening and request it. Occasionally the length of the presentation portion may be adjusted to accommodate a guest speaker, or as karma dictates.
