Dr. John O.A. Pagano, age 82, died peacefully in his sleep at his home in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, surrounded by his loving family.
Dr. Pagano was born and raised in Bayonne, NJ. The family spent summers in Monmouth Beach at the Jersey shore where John developed his passion for the sea. He was equally passionate about the mountains and all outdoor wildlife, especially horses. His love of all animals was best demonstrated by the affection he shared with the family pets.
Dr. Pagano graduated from Seton Hall Prep then served four years in the United States Navy aboard the Aircraft Carrier "Tarawa" during the Korean War. He received his art training at the School of Visual Arts in New York, then followed his calling to become a healer and graduated with honors from Lincoln Chiropractic College [now the National College of Chiropractic] in Lombard, Illinois. Dr. Pagano was a respected member of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors and a member of the Songwriters Guild of America.
NEW: Cayce Remedies Forum with Jack Rosen
Wednesdays 7 - 9 PM
Edgar Cayce never healed anyone. The core of his health philosophy is bringing the body back to a normal state where it can heal itself. Spirit is the life, mind is the builder and the physical is the result. For true healing to take place all three of these areas must be in balance, working in harmony. Using prayer, change of diet and various physical applications, Edgar Cayce was able to help the body heal itself of ailments such as eczema and psoriasis, epilepsy , fibroids, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome and other ailments, some of which have no medical cure to this day.
Using video presentations, demonstrations and questions, long-time Cayce educator Jack Rosen will share more than 45 years of experiences using the Cayce remedies. He will cover the use of castor oil packs for cleansing the liver and reducing inflammation, the three-day apple diet detox, Egyptian Oil for arthritis, Glycothymoline packs for sinusitis, Atomidine for cleansing the glandular system and making the blood system alkaline, the Cayce appliances, and many other Cayce healing modalities. Any and all questions about any aspect of the Edgar Cayce readings will be discussed. It will be a relaxed and informal get together. Come on down and get healthy the Cayce way.
Open to all, by donation.

Why We Need Spiritual Community Now
A message from Jack Rosen, Chair of the A.R.E./N.Y.C. Board of Trustees
All souls were created in the beginning, and are finding their way back to whence they came. –Edgar Cayce Reading 3744-5
In the Cayce philosophy life is a very purposeful journey. We are all spiritual beings who have forgotten who we are and are trying to come back to the Creator. According to Cayce we can only reach heaven leaning on the arm of someone we are helping on the way. This is not a solo journey, hence the need for spiritual community.
The same theme runs through all of the spiritual teachings I study—Cayce, Tolle, Gurdjieff. We’re asleep and must wake up. In a group we act as each other’s alarm clock. If we are by ourselves, we get used to the sound of the alarm and keep sleeping. To me this is the main purpose of having an Edgar Cayce Center in the heart of NYC—a supportive community where we can put this principle into action, helping each other to heal and grow to our highest potential using the Cayce philosophy as a guide.
